Past Event: June Lecture/ Working with Emotions

The emotions are composed of energy. There is tremendous conflict, a feeling that you are being overpowered by your emotions, that you are losing your basic identity, your center of command.

We start with a simple practice in the beginning, and then we begin to perceive the transparent quality of thoughts and emotions. It is learning how to become one with the emotions - not suppressing or acting them out.

The intelligent way of working with emotions is to relate to their basic substance, the fundamental nature of emotions, which is just energy. It is not a matter of eliminating them completely, but really seeing them and transmuting their confused qualities into transcendental qualities.
